Description: A Chinese Stoneware ginger jar.From the Tek Sing Shipwreck Cargo. A great piece of Asian Art. salvaged from the famous Tek Sing Shipwreck in 1822. Covered in marine encrustations, evidence of the years spent undisturbed on the ocean floor. The Tek Sing, which means "True Star", was a Huge Trading Junk, measuring 165 feet long and weighing over 1000 tonnes.
