Staffordshire - Flosmaron - Preserve Pot

Reference: 03181

Description: A charming preserve pot from the 1920's/30's. The preserve pot has a footed base and is decorated with a country scene The pot comes complete with white metal lid. Marked 'Flosmaron, English made' on base along with an impressed mark of Regent.

Dimensions: H: 8cm (3")

Additional Information: The history of Flosmaron can be traced back to the Thomas Lawrence factory at Longton, Staffordshire, England, who used the trade name Falconware. It is almost certain that Flosmaron pottery was made at the Falconware factory, the Flosmaron 'back stamp' being likely that of a wholesaler for whom it was made. Flosmaron was produced in the late 1920s and early 1930s.
